THE ART AND WORK OF RAUL DIAZ

Built as a fixed gear bike, the Rei Sentouki stands for the japanese fighters during the WWII (Rei Sentouki means Zero Fighter), and their practically suicidal pilots.

The main theme of japanese art can be seen all over the bike, even in its most hidden spots.

The fork of the was also painted with the theme of the Koi fishes, in this case, it's scales.

The japanese theme was done so it would look like a tattoo piece using a sharpie marker.

The bicycle built was a custom painted fixed gear with a 49/18 gear ratio, with Campagnolo Pista 165 crank arms, Condor track hub, 3TTT Colnago stem amongst its most valuable parts.

This bicycle was a single speed light tourer, custom painted with a floral and animal theme and set up with 700c wheels and even a side back pannier.

The theme was the amazonic rain forest making emphasis on its ecologic problems and the most recalled animals from that area.

The head tube and the fork were decorated with lots of buterflyes making it look like some of the trees in the amazon.

Another really important part of the project were the Maccaws drawn on the seatpost tube, a really beautifull and distinctive part of the bicycle.
